Dean's Message

The journey of Faculty of Pharmacy under the umbrella of OPJS University has been magnificent one. It was established in 2013 with the motive to provide quality pharmacy education at Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral levels.

Medicines today have great power to heal and to improve the quality of life for millions of Peoples. The pharmacist is a key health care professional in helping people achieve the best results from their medications. Pharmacy profession has been evolving steadily over the last decade in India. Today, pharmacists have expanded their role from dispensing to pharmaceutical care by maximizing the benefits of medications.

Faculty of Pharmacy is running all the pharmacy programmes viz; D Pharm., B. Pharm., Pharm M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry), and PhD.

The Faculty of Pharmacy has excellent laboratory facilities and a unique exhaustive collection of books and journals. It has an excellent team of well qualified, trained and experienced teaching staff, to impart thorough Knowledge in Theoretical and Practical aspects of various professional specialties of Pharmacy.

Apart from the study, we provide the opportunity to the students to take part in the Co-Curricular activities which includes personality development by sharpen their communication skills, expression skills, public speaking, participation and sense of belongingness through different activities like debates, presentation, art and craft, creative art competitions, classroom activities like reading, group discussions etc.
